Our Story

Compass Community Church was established  as a church plant in 2019 operating out of our local high school. Westmount Christian Reformed Church was the original planting church We gathered weekly and enjoyed time spent together as a community of new and old believers. Unfortunately much like the rest of the world the COVID-19 pandemic brought our gatherings to an abrupt halt and we were unable to use the high school facilities for unforeseeable future.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic stay at home orders we continued with weekly video based messages and continued to enjoy a sense of community even through online worship.

In 2022 Westmount CRC  voted to become Compass Community Church and continue with its goal of bringing more people in the Strathroy community to the love of Christ. 

Renovations have been planned and are currently in progress to make the old facilities a more welcoming and modern place for people to enjoy the worship experience and explore faith together.

We look forward to the future of Compass Community Church and God's plan for it. Join us in helping write the next chapter of Compass Community Church in the Strathroy area.
